Are FireBoard Thermistor probes compatible with my Yoder?
Yes.
Are FireBoard RTD probes compatible with my Yoder?
No.
Can I run a FireBoard and Yoder Smoker in my FireBoard App?
Yes. Follow the steps to Activate your FireBoard.
Will the FireBoard App control the Yoder’s temperature?
Yes.
How do I adjust the antenna to improve Bluetooth connectivity on my Yoder?
Make sure the antenna is properly screwed and seated in place. If you continue to experience connectivity issues, try performing a power cycle by unplugging the Yoder and plugging it back in. This can help reset the Bluetooth connection.
How do I perform a factory reset on my Yoder?
To perform a factory reset on your Yoder:
- Navigate to Settings > Advanced > Factory Reset on the device’s menu.
- Ensure the Yoder is on but not actively running. The factory reset cannot be initiated while the device is in operation.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the reset process.
What should I do if the Yoder won’t shut down through the app?
First, open the app and navigate to the Drive Settings page by tapping on the Drive widget on the dashboard, or by navigating to Settings > Device > Drive Settings to turn it off.
If this does not work, attempt to perform a shutdown manually on the Yoder. Simply press the power button on the Yoder to begin the shutdown process.
Can I adjust the control channel on my Yoder?
No, we do not support changing the control channel on a Yoder at this time.
How do I set a temperature offset for my Yoder’s control channel?
To set a control channel offset on your Yoder, use the Yoder’s interface and go to Settings > Device > Advanced Settings > Probe Configuration. This is only available via the Yoder UI, and cannot be managed throguh the mobile app.
What is the proper shutdown procedure for the Yoder?
The Yoder follows a specific shutdown protocol determined by the manufacturer. After you press the power button to shut down, the fan will continue running until the unit has fully cooled down. Once the fan stops, the Yoder is completely shut off.
