FireBoard Pulse: Overview
The FireBoard Pulse is a cutting-edge, dual-sensor wireless thermometer designed for accurate and convenient temperature monitoring in various cooking environments. Whether you’re grilling, smoking, or baking, the Pulse provides precise readings for both internal and surface temperatures, ensuring perfect results every time.
Key Features
Internal and External Temperature Monitoring
The FireBoard Pulse features multiple integrated sensors that measure both internal and external temperatures:
- Internal Sensor: Located approximately 70% down the length of the probe tube, it accurately tracks the internal temperature of your food.
- External Sensor: Positioned inside the circular end opposite the probe tip, this sensor measures surface or ambient temperatures, making it ideal for grilling or monitoring the cooking environment.
Fast, Efficient Charging
Equipped with a custom charging block, the Pulse charges to full capacity in just 10 minutes via USB-C. The charging system is designed with magnetic stacking contacts, allowing multiple chargers to be stacked and powered through a single cable for convenient, simultaneous charging.
Dual-Band Connectivity
The Pulse supports Bluetooth and S1G connectivity:
- Bluetooth: Pairs with FireBoard devices or smartphones, allowing for local monitoring.
- S1G (Sub-1GHz): Provides long-range connectivity when paired with a FireBoard 2 series device equipped with an S1G antenna, making it ideal for use in challenging environments where Bluetooth range may be limited.
Cloud Connectivity
The FireBoard Pulse integrates seamlessly with the FireBoard mobile app and FireBoard Cloud Dashboard. This allows for remote monitoring of your cooking sessions, configuration of notifications, and management or sharing of session data, all from your smartphone or desktop.
Security
The Pulse provides an additional layer of privacy by protecting your data over-the-air with AES-128 encryption.
Durable and Water-Resistant
With its IP67 water-resistance rating, the Pulse is built for durability, making it easy to clean with soap and water and resistant to harsh environments. Its streamlined design ensures long-lasting performance for all kinds of grilling, smoking, and baking needs.
