There are two variations of Yoder / FireBoard controller. The first variant combines two devices, the YFB which provides interaction with the hardware, and the YFBX which acts as host. The second variant is the YFBXC, which is a standalone device that performs all control logic, hardware interaction, and connectivity.

The YFB / YFBX board were primarily produced up until late 2022. After that, most Yoder grills were shipped with the YFBXC board.

YFB Version

YFB (Yoder) firmware is bundled with the corresponding YFBX (FireBoard) version. Note that not every YFBX update has changes to the YFB firmware. Both the Yoder and FireBoard versions can be viewed on the About Screen.
